THIRTY YEARS OF MINISTRY


1986 - Ed and Ann Martin began a ministry at Dorthy Street Mission.
1988 - Sullivan Baptist Association (SBA) reported that First Baptist Church and                            Ft. Robinson Baptist Church were helping in supporting the work at Dorothy Street            Mission.  The SBA WMU were also getting involved.
1990 - SBA churches were helping to grow the ministry under the direction of Ed and                    Ann Martin.  A mission chapel was built.  The SBA Executive Committee voted for              SBA to be the sponsor of this mission.
1995 - A lot near the property was purchased.
2000 - The name changed to Gibsontown Baptist Ministries.
2000 - A new building was built at 1022 Dorothy Street.
2011 - Gibsontown Ministries became a 501(c) 3 chartered non-profit organization.
2012 - Tuesday, October 23 the Sullivan Baptist Association in their annual meeting voted            to sell the property to Gibsontown Ministries for $100.  The transaction was                      completed in mid 2013.
2016 - Continuing to proclaim God's glory and share Jesus.
