PURPOSE: To extend physical and spiritual needs to those who attend the worship service and dinner provided each Sunday by Freeway Gibsontown by providing clean, weather appropriate clothing items.
WHAT: Clean items of clothing will be offered each week when clothing closet volunteers are available to help distribute.
- Attend Freeway worship service and dinner and participants may choose 2 tops and 1 bottom for self only.
- If using the shower services, participants can receive 1 complete set of clothes to weat after the shower and a 2nd set of underclothes and a top to take.
- Participants mst be accompanied by a Freeway volunteer to "shop" the clothing closet.
- 1 shopper at a time in the clothing closet/hallway area. Participants to wait outside or in the community room for their turn. No lingering in the hall.
- Clothing for self only, no gathering of clothing items for family members, friends, etc.
- No totes or backpacks in closet. A shopping bag will be provided.
DONATIONS:
- Please refer all potential donors to Lisa Larsen to make arrangements for drop off.
- Donations of clean, wearable, (would you wear it?) casual clothing (vs formal wear or 3-piece suits) only please.
