NO BIBLE STUDY CLASSES THURSDAY, JANUARY 30, 2014

If Sullivan County schools are closed or dismiss school early due to winter weather, Gibsontown Ministries will also be closed.  We follow this policy because many of our volunteers live outside the city in Sullivan County.

Looking ahead at 2014 with great anticipation of what God is going to do!

God blessed Gibsontown Ministry during 2013 in so many ways!  We saw progress in every area and increased participation. We are very thankful for everyone who supported the ministry through financial contributions, in-kind donations and volunteering.

Check out the "Events" page! The Board of Directors have set 2014 dates for annual events and you will find the dates posted there. 

Our desire is to continue to seek the Lord's leadership for the ministry and expand as He leads. Please join us in praying for the following:

• More and more people to come to faith in Jesus Christ in the Gibsontown community.
• Coordinator and teachers for Life Skills classes. 
• Increase in financial contributions.

During December

Thursday Bible Study Attendance - 70 
        (Morning class met Dec. 5, 12, & 19. Evening class met Dec. 5 & 19.)
Number of people receiving:

•   diapers - 70
•   baby wipes - 36
•   adult diapers -  2
•   feminine hygiene products - 2
•   food from food pantry - 32
•   use of showers - 2
•   use of laundry facilities  - 2

Christmas Dinner Attendance - 72 (Everyone received a gift.)

Sewing class did not meet during December but will resume Monday, January 20th at 5:30 pm.
